Electronic Document / Signature Agreement
This Electronic Document / Signature Agreement allows us to provide our clients with electronic documents. Certain laws and agreements require us to provide notices and disclosures to clients in “writing” (traditionally this is defined as a paper notice); with consent, the E-SIGN Act allows us to provide these documents to clients electronically.
DEFINITIONS
The word “clients” refers to any individual or company that transacts with Acme Ventures LLC.
SCOPE OF THIS AGREEMENT
This Electronic Document / Signature Agreement applies to all agreements, contracts, work-orders, and other account-related documents generated by Acme Ventures LLC through our course of work for a client. This consent will remain effective as long as the clients transact with are an Acme Ventures LLC customer, until changed, or until expressly withdrawn by the client. Consent does not mean that we must provide documents electronically but instead that we may deliver some or all those documents electronically.
ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF DOCUMENTS
Electronic documents will be delivered to clients in a .pdf document, or another common format, through e-mail or chat.
REQUESTING PAPER COPIES OF DOCUMENTS PRESENTED ELECTRONICALLY
Clients agree and understand that paper versions of electronically presented documents may not be mailed unless the client specifically requests it. To request a paper copy of any disclosure, notice, or other document, contact us. Copies of most documents will be mailed at no charge, but Acme Ventures LLC reserves the right to charge a minimal shipping and handling fee to recover costs.
WITHDRAWAL OF YOUR CONSENT
Clients may withdraw your consent to this Agreement at any time. To withdraw consent, send an e-mail to [email protected] stating that you withdraw your consent for the Electronic Document / Signature Agreement. You may also mail your withdrawal to us at PO Box 552, Asheboro, NC, 27204. Any withdrawal of consent must include your name and title.
